The question after the design

They like the work. Then they ask who is going to build it.

That question is the account. If the answer is no, or "we'll find someone," they start looking for a team that can build what you designed. The next round of design often goes with them. If the answer is a quick yes, the build goes to whoever can start.

Handed to someone else. The yes gets passed to a junior, or to an offshore team. You see what they did to the file in the review.
Thinner than the file. Type, spacing, and motion come back simplified. Your team can see it. So will the client.
Fine until the next ask. Accounts, payments, the parts the prototype skipped. The demo never included them, and the person who built the demo often can't.
Your people, in the tickets. Whoever sold the work spends the week answering for code they didn't write.

You stay in the room and answer yes. I write the code in your repo.

How a month runs

The terms, before anyone gets on a call

Fee: $8,200. Pause or stop when the project ends. A long week doesn't change it.
Who: I write the code. Senior work, and it stays with me. A junior doesn't take the ticket. An offshore team doesn't take the nights.
Pace: One project during the month. I put work up for you to review two or three times a week, so you see it before a pile of changes lands at the end.
Access: Your Slack, your GitHub, your Linear. You write to me. There is no account manager on my side.
Client: I work under your name, including an email on your domain, or I stay off the client entirely. You choose before we start.
Handoff: You get the repo, notes a new engineer can actually read, and the IP.
Changes: New work replaces something already in this month, or it waits. A separate build is a separate month. This month stays $8,200.

What you charge the client

Put the month inside the client's project fee, or inside the retainer they already pay you. I invoice the agency. Your price to them is your business.

I sign an NDA before I open a file. I don't contact your client on my own. My name stays off the work unless you put it there.
